Drawing

My way of working is slow and reduced to minimal actions which are repeated over and over again. In the process of working I direct my whole attention at drawing each line. By focusing on the repeated minimal action I lose the overall view. I alter my perception. The actions become autonomous. I do not influence the development of the continuous form. Due to my inability to follow the pattern precisely, the forms arise autonomously and find their own way on the sheet of paper. I provoke a slow coincidence. Yet the drawing also forces me to take decisions. I put myself in a schizophrenic position.
